The Haleyville City Council met Monday, May 18 with Royce Bennefield absent. The Council approved the operation bills and purchase orders for April in the amount of $387,154.67. A resolution was passed which approved an engineering agreement with the Calvin Cassady Company for the installation of wildlife fencing around the Haleyville airport. The work will begin in October.

The next scheduled meeting of the Haleyville City Council will be on Monday, June 1.

Just a reminder, the 9-1-1 and HHS Alumni festivities originally planned for the first weekend in June have been canceled for this year.
