The Haleyville City Board of Education met Monday night with Beth McAlpine absent. The Board approved the expenditures for October in the amount of $1,412,780.49. A 30X9 foot Green House Frame was declared surplus, obsolete  or uneconomically repairable. The Board also approved amendments to the supplemental salary schedule and the High School Spring Fishing Competition Schedule. Two fund raisers were approved as well as approving the resignation of Amy Farris as Haleyville High Majorette Sponsor.
