Two HHS Students Win Awards

AWARDS

Two local Haleyville High Students recently took top awards in state-wide competition for SkillsUSA. Skills USA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. The program provides educational programs, events, and competitions which support career and technical education (CTE) in the nation’s classroom.

Bryton Frost took first place in Diesel Equipment Technology at the Alabama State Skills USA Competition. Bryton will be attending the National Competition in Louisville Kentucky this summer for the second time. Bryton is a 10th grader and has received many scholarships this year and last year as well. Hunter Jordan took third place in Automotive Service Technology as a Junior at HHS. We are very proud of both these young men and expect great things in the future from both of them.
