Double Homicide in Fayette

On Tuesday, May 1, 2018, police officers and deputies from Fayette and Walker Counties responded to a residence on Fayette County Highway 63 after a subject called 911 to request help at the residence.  Upon their arrival, the officers located two deceased male subjects, the scene was secured and the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office requested that the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation responded to the scene to assist with the investigation.  Currently, officers from the Alabama State Bureau of Investigation, the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, the Carbon Hill Police Department, the Berry Police Department, and the 14th Judicial District Attorney’s Office are on the scene and it is being treated as a double homicide.  Anyone with any information related to the investigation is encouraged to contact local law enforcement.  No further details are available as this is an ongoing investigation.
