The City of Haleyville purchased two new police cars which were delivered and have been waiting a few weeks for the installation of all the equipment and accessories necessary to make them look and work like a police car. Decal markings, lights, radios and other equipment will be installed by Fleet Safety,  a national company with a facility located in Birmingham. According to Haleyville Police Chief, Kyle Reogas, Fleet Safety has a serious backlog of installations and it was decided the new cars would wait their turn in the City Hall parking lot.
