Thursday Closures
The Haleyville City and all other Winston County Schools will be out Thursday due to icy side roads and back roads. Temperatures are expected to rise well above freezing on Thursday afternoon and the schools expect to be back on a normal schedule by Friday. From Dr. Sutherland: “We are anxious to get back in school and we know your kids are! Be safe and warm and we will see you Friday!”

Road Condition Update
City of Haleyville Streets and Winston County Road Update: On Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at 12:00 p.m. all Haleyville City Streets and Winston County Roads will be removed from an Impassable Condition and placed in Advisory Condition. Drivers are encouraged to stay off the roads but if travel is necessary, use caution as there are isolated spots of ice and snow on the roads and bridges. Use caution overnight and in the morning hours tomorrow as remaining wet spots will freeze after sunset.
