The Haleyville City Council met Monday, May 8, with Councilman Royce Benefield absent. The Council approved a one-time pay adjustment for employees to be paid in December. The purchase of equipment for two new patrol cars from Fleet Safety for $10,480.00 was approved. Rock and culvert work to be done at the hospital in the amount of $6,000.00 was also approved along with new banners for the city in the amount of $1,771.27. The next Council meeting, which would normally be on May 21 was moved to Tuesday, May 29.
