    The Haleyville Park & Rec. will be conducting youth basketball registration October 14 through October 25. Registration hours are. Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 9am till 6pm Wednesday & Friday 9am till 5pm. Youth basketball is for boys & girls ages 5-12. The age of your child is determined by his or her age as of September 1, 2019. The registration cost is $ 35.00. We now accept credit/debit cards. There’s a multi child discount.

    The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is open online! Haleyville High School will host our FAFSA Day for senior students and parents on FRIDAY, OCTOBER 25, 2019. Representatives from Northwest Shoals Community College and Bevill State Community College will be available on campus from 8:00 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. to assist senior students and their parents with filing their FAFSA application for the 2020-21 school year.
    You may contact the guidance office at 205-486-3122 at HHS to make an appointment or you can walk-in at any time that day for assistance! For more information, questions, or to make an appointment, please contact school counselors, Jennifer Rains, Stacie Temple, or Denise Banks.
    In order to be prepared to complete the application you will need to have your 2018 tax information available. The FAFSA asks parents and students for information on their income, assets, etc.

    The Haleyville Center of Technology will begin the annual Fruit Sale on Wednesday, October 16th and will take orders through October 31st, 2019. Anticipated delivery is the first week of December. Orders may be placed by calling the Haleyville Center of Technology Office at (205)486-9481 or through any participating HCT teacher or student.   • Haleyville High School’s 1st Annual “Start with Hello” Week

    Haleyville High School is hosting its 1st Annual “Start with Hello” week this week, September 23-27. Daily Events are listed on the attachment. We encourage all students and teachers to participate.

    Monday: Student will receive green Say “Hello” bracelets that they are encouraged to wear all week long, and students are encouraged to visit the “Wall of Encouragement” all week long in order to put their favorite quote or words of encouragement onto the sign.

    Tuesday: Students will receive green “Start with Hello” Stickers to wear and are encouraged to take pics with both their “new” and their “old” friends and post them to #StartWithHello.

    Wednesday: Students and staff are encouraged to participate in “Mix & Mingle” Day and sit with someone new at lunch or in class for “Start with Hello” week.

    Thursday: This is our “Wear Green Day”, and Students & Staff are encouraged to wear green in support.

    Friday: This is the “Start with Hello” Finale and students will receive a green ribbon to support “Start with Hello” week. The Multi Media Design class will show their production of “Hello” at the pep-rally, and a “Start with Hello” poster winner will be crowned.
