At what point do yard sale signs and political signs become litter? The signs have the persons address on the yard sale signs, the political signs have the names of the candidate being supported. I have been told when I see someone littering I can get their tag number and call it in….. Then what? I am so sick of the nasty litter on our roads and yards in Haleyville. What happened to people’s respect for others and the town they live in? I think litter laws need to be enforced and fines are given. If the litterbug can’t afford his/her fine they should have to pick up trash on the roadways for payment of their fines. A lot of children don’t give it a second thought about throwing their trash on the ground. If parenting is not teaching the child better, there needs to be a program at school about littering.
