High winds on Friday resulted in bent poles on the cable system used to suspend a curtain around the water tower on 30th Street. On Saturday, workers for the contractor, Robinson and Sons of Haleyville, raised new poles and replaced the bent ones. The water tower is presently being repainted as part of scheduled maintence to bevent corrision or rust.
