Council Re-zones Property Along 195

The City Council held a special meeting Monday and re-zoned property along AL195 near Shady Brook and Green Leaf from B-2 to R-3. The property, approximately two acres, belongs to Derral Dobbs and was a mobile home park. Dobbs is working with a company that is planning to build 14 assisted living facilities in Alabama. He stressed that the project is in its very early stages.
