A major part of the jail renovation project is complete and the city's emergency dispatch has moved into a modernized space. Last Friday's move into the new dispatch center means new and more radios and much more space. The old space was only 180 square feet. The new space is at least twice as large and is equipped to handle a second dispatcher if needed. The additional radio streamlines fire and weather siren communications.
