Sunday Fire Takes Life

A Sunday morning fire in Haleyville took the life of Mary Hobbs, 70, 1910 Haley Avenue. According to Winston County Coroner Larry Gilliland, the apparent cause of death was smoke inhalation. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
