The family of nine, including five children, escaped without harm.  All furniture, clothing and personal possessions were destroyed in the fire. Jerry Flake is currently undergoing chemo treatments to battle cancer. Crossway Church in Haleyville is leading the effort to unite the community in providing help for this family.
