Man Killed Driving Tractor

A two-vehicle crash today, Dec. 16, has claimed the life of a Nauvoo man.  Kenneth R. Carroll Jr, 57, was killed when the Mahindra tractor he was driving collided with a 1999 Chevrolet pickup driven by Shelley Kaye Gree, 50, of Double Springs.  Carroll was pronounced dead at the scene.  The crash occurred at 5:26 p.m. on Alabama 195 near the 12 mile marker, eight miles south of Double Springs.  Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
