This dinner is not sponsored by any single church or organization. It is 100% funded by donations from local businesses and individuals. Nell Cole, who founded this project almost fourteen years ago, asks for your help. The dinner is expected to serve over 1000, plus, this year, Mrs. Cole plans to buy Christmas gifts for as many foster children as possible and to take a gift to the residents of the local nursing home.
Mrs. Cole is asking volunteers to solicit contributions from your church, Sunday school class, co-workers, and/or friends and family. Funding for this project is urgent. To donate by check, please make payable to Nell Cole or to the South Haleyille Church of God (Mrs. Cole's home church). Donations are tax deductible. To arrange for your contribution to be picked up, please call Linda Bumpers 269-3653.
