Arley Man Killed in Single Vehicle Crash

A single-vehicle crash at 2:25 a.m. today, Oct. 25, has claimed the life of an Arley man. William John Dickey, 26, was killed when the 2012 Dodge Ram he was driving left the roadway in a curve and struck a tree.  Dickey, who was not using a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The crash occurred on Winston County 77, also known as Helican Road, five miles north of Arley.  Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
