HHS Defeats Central of Florence

The Haleyville Lions were on the road Friday night, defeating Central 48-21, spoiling the Central homecoming. Other scores in the area include Cordova defeating Oakman, 28-14.  Haleyville will play at Cordova this coming Friday night, October 2.  The Lions next game will be a home game and senior night Friday, October 9 against Hamilton who was defeated last Thursday night by Winfield, 56-35. The next week will be open for the Lions.

Winston County is having a great year so far, defeating Carbon Hill 49-28 Friday. Phillips High defeated Phil Campbell, 62-45, Red Bay over Belmont, 35-0. Sumiton Christian defeated Lynn, 51-14 and Russellville was defeated by Sparkman, 39-36.
