A single-vehicle crash at 9:33 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, claimed the life of a Hamilton man. Pedro Padron Sanchez, 36, was killed when he lost control of the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving, and it overturned in the roadway. Sanchez, who was not using a seat belt, was ejected and pronounced dead at the scene. The vehicle’s two passengers were also not using seat belts and were ejected. The crash occurred on Alabama 253 near the 11 mile marker, three miles north of Brilliant. Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
