Phillips Bears defeated RA Hubbard 78-42 to advance to the next round of the state regional finals against South Lamar in the 1A basketball playoffs.

Haleyville High Lions were defeated by East Lawrence 66-41 which ends the year in basketball for the Lions. Congrations to both teams for an outstanding season.
