Haleyville High School recently celebrated College Application Day for HHS seniors. This day was filled with activities preparing students for their upcoming college careers. Each teacher decorated their doors in items from the college they attended and talked with students about different programs offered from those schools and the social activities they provide. The seniors then completed various college applications in the HHS Library with assistance from their teachers. The HHS staff hopes this will provide students with information about a variety of colleges and allows them to ask questions to former students of those colleges. They also hope it will allow seniors to look at several options before choosing a path for their futures, rather than settling on one college they are familiar with.
