Two Haleyville High School students competed in the National Automotive Technology Competition in Kansas City last week. Jacob Cornelius finished 11th in the nation with 700 points, also earning his position in the 700 Club. Being a member of this club means Cornelius exceeded the industry standards for automotive technology.
Kent Glass also competed and finished 15th in the nation. Both Glass and Cornelius graduated as ASE Master Certified NATEF technicians.
Congratulations to Cornelius and Glass, as well as HHS Auto Tech Sponsor, Mike Bachelor!
