The Haleyville City Council met Monday evening. Councilmen Bud Wilson and Royce Benefield were absent. The following items were approved. 

-Regular council meeting and public hearing minutes from 12/2/13

-November operational bills in the amount of $417,143.48

-Renewal of $975,000 line of credit (has never been used but is in place if needed)

-2014-18 Five Year Strategic and Action Plans

-Amendment with T Investments to extend purchase contract on Haleyville City Hall to January 8, 2014

-Salary Adjustment for City Judge from $550 to $1,000 per month

-Salary Adjustment for City Prosecutor from $500 to $600 per month

The council then noted that the city has closed on the Randolph Property that will be used for a sportsplex. Also, the Dollar Tree is expected to open mid-January.
