Two Vehicle Collision

The Bear Creek Police Department, Bear Creek Fire Department, and Haleyville Police Department responded to a two vehicle accident at the intersection of County Highway 62 and State Highway 13 in Bear Creek Tuesday morning around 7:30. The Ford Escape was driven by Amanda Adams, and the Chevy Silverado was driven by Keith Bates. Both vehicles also had children as occupants. Officials on the scene stated Adams was driving southeast on Highway 13 and was making a left turn onto County Highway 62 when her vehicle collided with the Chevy Silverado. Bates and his child were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The accident is being investigated by the Bear Creek Police Department.
