Severe weather is expected in Alabama Thursday afternoon. Current forecasts predict the weather will enter the state around 3:00 p.m. The risk for tornadoes is low but cannot be completely ruled out. The primary threats in this system is lightning, damaging winds, and large hail. Stay tuned to Paradise 92.7 for local forecasts and updates as the system nears the region.
Also, please be aware there is a heat advisory for Marion and Winston Counties from noon until 6:00 p.m. Be cautious while outdoors, and stay hydrated. Also, be sure all outside animals have access to fresh water.
