The Bear Creek and Haleyville Police Departments served two search warrants in Bear Creek Thursday evening. The first warrant was served at 505 High Avenue. This warrant produced the remains of a methamphetamine lab, and the officers confiscated all ingredients from the lab that were found on the property. An arrest warrant for the owner of the home, Paul Edward Butler, was issued.
The second warrant was served at 859 County Highway 366 and resulted in three arrests. Leo Daniel Stubbe was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in the First Degree and Distribution of Marijuana. Jonathan Spain was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in First Degree. Jennifer Greer was arrested for Possession of Marijuana in the Second Degree.
