Road construction continues on State Highway 13 in Bear Creek. The intersection of State Highways 13 and 172 is currently closed, and all traffic must detour around the intersection. This construction consists of widening the road, installing curbing systems, and resolving drainage issues and is expected to last at least a few months according to ALDOT officials. Drivers are asked to use caution in the area while workers are on the scene.
