One Injured in Collision

One driver was injured in a two vehicle collision 6 p.m. Thursday evening at the intersection of Highway 243 and Winston County Road 93 (Pebble). Lindsey Durham, 21, Haleyville was transported from the scene by ambulance to Lakeland ER with none life-threatening injuries. Durham was traveling south on Highway 243 when her 2012 Scion collied with a 2005 Kia, driven by Dakota Roberts, 19, Haleyville. Roberts was on County Road 93 southbound crossing Highway 243 and was not injured. 

Members of the Pebble Fire Department responded immediately to the 9-1-1 call and assisted at the scene until the roadway was cleared. The accident was investigated by the Alabama State Troopers.
