Saturday, September 1, 2012, twenty original members of the 107th Transportation Truck Company, Alabama National Guard, met at the American Legion in Haleyville for their semi-annual reunion. The 107th deployed to Korea, and after returning, for a while in the early 50's, the unit became the 877th Engineering Company. The unit's designation changed again for a short while when it changed again to become the 1343rd Engineering Company. A major change in mission brought about the 1125th Signal Company (Florence), then the 279th Signal Company (Huntsville) and the present 115th Signal Company again. The 115th Signal Company is presently deployed to Afganastan.

Members of the 115th were invited to meet with the 107th, a joint reunion. Seen below were members now retired who served with the 115th, some were in the original deployment of the 115th to Iraq.
