Long-time Winston County Industrial Development Authority President Grady Batchelor has accepted a position with Colorado Technical University's School of Business. As of now, everything at the IDA is proceding as normal, Batchelor said. "I am currently working on a couple of expansion projects in Haleyville," he added. His new position begins in six months and the form and manner of transition will likely be discussed at the IDA's April board meeting. With 10 years at IDA, Batchelor stressed that he remains in place as of now continuing the hard work of bringing economic development and expansion to Winston County.
