The Haleyville City Council held its regular meeting Monday, at 11 AM rather than 7 PM, and took the following action: Approved the promotion of Haleyville Police Officer Michael Glasheen to Sergeant; approved the purchase of a Backhoe Loader from Thompson Tractor, Inc., in Tuscumbia, for $83,057.00; and approved the Mayor's hiring of four seasonal employees for Streets & Sanitation and one part-time Senior Center Aide. The next meeting of the Council will be April 2, 7 PM, at City Hall.
