Tuesday, March 13, is Primary Election day and many Haleyville residents will be voting in different locations. In January, the City Council approved a measure to consolidate polling inside the Haleyville City Limits.

All voters living inside the city limits will now vote at either the Neighborhood Facilities Building or at the 21st Street Gym. The dividing line starts at the eastern edge of the city and follows AL195 until it intersects with AL13. It then travels North on AL13 until the city limit is reached. Everyone living on the North side of this line will vote at the 21st Street Gym on 14th Avenue, just off 21st St. Everyone living on the South side of this line will vote at the Neighborhood Facilities Building. A voter's new polling place will be based upon the voter's residential address and not on his old polling place.

Poll are open from 7 AM until 7 PM. Live results will be posted here and can be heard on Paradise92.7, WWWH-FM.
