The Winston County Republican Party will host its 2012 Ronald Reagan Dinner on Friday, March 2, 6 PM, at Lakeshore Inn & Marina in Double Springs. The annual dinner is the primary fundraising event for the local GOP.

This year’s dinner will feature candidates who will be appearing on the March 13 Republican primary ballot, as well as Republican candidates who will be unopposed in the primary, but will be on the November general election ballot. All national, state-wide, and local Republican candidates have been invited to attend.

Special musical entertainment will be provided by Christian music artist Tony Hebson of Birmingham, who sings with a very rare heldentenor voice. Hebson was the featured singer for the Alabama Republican Party’s Summer Dinner in 2011.

Tickets for the dinner are priced at $25.00 each. Sponsorships (which include two tickets) can be purchased by candidates, businesses, or individuals for $250.00 each. Tickets and sponsorships can be purchased by calling 205-486-5354 after 5 PM or by going online to [ticketriver.com]. Individual tickets can also be purchased from any beat chairperson: Joe Morrow (Double Springs), Paul Posey (Haleyville), Jerry Mobley (Lynn), Doug Rice (Black Pond), Willard Wadsworth (Arley), Dale Wade (Houston), Bobby Everett (Addison), Edward Cagle (Moreland), Bill Waldrop (Helican), Ronnie Mobley (Delmar), or Sheila Moore (Ashridge). The deadline for purchasing tickets and sponsorships is February 24th.

Chairman Neal Cook encourages all those who are concerned about the future of our county, state, and nation to join the Winston County GOP for a night of entertainment and information.
