The Haleyville Board of Education held its regular meeting Tuesday evening and took the following action: approved expenditures for September, 2010, in the amount of $1,380,980.66; approved field trip request for HHS Girls Basketball to play in Ala-Miss Basketball Shoot-Out in Belmont, Miss., January 15, 2011; approved two additions to the Substitute Teacher List; and approved two fundraisers.
In personnel action, the Board approved the resignation of Lisa Bales, Haleyville Elementary lunchroom worker and hired Ali Hathcock as At-Risk AHSGE Math Tutor for before and/or after school hours.
The next meeting of the Board will be Tuesday, December 14, 7 PM.
