Carnies have been busy assembling the many rides of the Sonshine Carnival, a fundraiser for the Haleyville Lions Club. The carnival opens Wednesday night in the parking lots behind McDonald's. The carnival will run through Saturday night with a matinee Saturday afternoon. Arm bands are $13 and good for all rides.
