Board of Education Versus County Commission By Glenn Collins Friday, September 10, 2010 | 3:09 PM

What some have termed a “feud” between the Winston County Commission and the Winston County Board of Education over expenses related to the the school district's new central office building reportedly was resolved Tuesday after the sides met with a mediator.
Schools Superintendent Sue Reed said, “Hopefully, both parties are happy.” Because of the mediation, Reed declined further comment and referred questions to the board's attorney, Jeffery Mobley.
Commission Chairman Roger Hayes was unavailable Friday and a call to Mobley's office was not returned.
