Water Department crews feverishly worked late into Tuesday night to repair two broken water lines, one on 25th Street at HWY 13 and one on Airport Road. The break on Airport Road knocked out water service in that area. Rescue Squad members assisted with traffic control. At 11 p.m., the temperature in Haleyville was 18° and forecast to drop to 11°.
