Joel Sherrill, director of Haleyville Park and Recreation, has begun a picker's night every Tuesday at the Neighborhood Facilities Building. From 6 to 9 PM, local pickers gather to share their music. Most bring guitars, but some very talented musicians also bring and play harmonicas, mandolins and various other instruments. The public is welcome to come pick, sing, play or just watch and listen. You can learn, or share what you know with others. It is fun, it is free, it is every Tuesday at the Neighborhood Facilities Building.
