The City Council held its regular meeting Tuesday evening and took the following action: hired Dusty Osburn as a mechanic; approved change order #2 for resurfacing, storm water drainage; appropriated $1,500 to the American Red Cross; approved advertising for a Streets & Sanitation employee; and authorized a grant application for a new police car.

Mayor Ken Sunseri distributed a draft alcohol ordinance to the councilmembers.

The next regular meeting of the council will be Monday, July 19, 7 PM.
