A two vehicle collision Friday afternoon collision on Highway 13 south sent two people to the Lakeland ER.  A southbound 1995 International Coca-Cola truck and trailer was struck by a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado pulling out from Highway 129. The driver of the Coke truck, Mark Moore, 40, Hamilton, was not injured in the collision and ensuing jackknife of his truck and trailer.

The Silverado was driven by the minor son of Dallas Burke, 47, who was a passenger. Burke was transported by ambulance to LCH ER, with non-life threatening injuries. 

The accident was investigated by Haleyville Police.
