The Haleyville City Council met Monday night with Mayor Ken Sunseri and Councilman Bud Wilson absent. With only two items on the agenda, it was a very short meeting conducted by Mayor pro tem Richard Bittinger. The council approved the minutes from the regular meeting on September 21 and then approved replacing an antenna for the police radio repeater. 

It was announced Haleyville fire Chief Phillip Weaver recommended Jarrod Crittenden to be added as a volunteer firemen for Haleyville Fire and Rescue.

The next scheduled regular meeting of the council will be Monday, 19 October, at 5:30 p.m. at the Neighborhood Facilities Building.
