The Haleyville Varsity Lions Football team lost to Winston County High 28-19 Friday night in the first game of the season for both teams. The game gave both teams a real chance to play against an opponent. The Winston County Yellow Jackets came ready to play, and play they did. 

This coming Friday night Haleyville will play again at home against Red Bay. Red Bay (2A) won against Colbert Heights High School (3A) last Friday night 25-13. The full schedule for HHS can be found in the hbtv.us archives.
