Governor Robert Bentley joined the Mayor of Hackleburg and other digitaries in a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new grocery store called Hackleburg Market. This is the first grocery store in Hackleburg since the tornado of 2011. Bentley addressed the crowd and talked about the 18 people killed by the F5 tornado on April 27, 2011 and the mass destruction of homes and businesses. He stated he was proud of Hackleburg for the come back it has made. The rebuilding and reopening of the Wrangler plant, good jobs are back, a new school, and now a new grocery store.
