The U.S. Census Bureau reports that Haleyville has reached 67% return rate on the 2010 Census. Winston County has a reached 52%. Census forms should be mailed by May 1.

Mayor Ken Sunseri again stressed today the importance of "being counted." He wants everyone to mail in their census because an accurate count is vital to Haleyville receiving its share of funding.
