Water, sewer and gas lines were moved on 8th Avenue (Dime Road) during the better part of last week in preparation for a new drainage culvert to be installed from the south side of Highway 13 adjacent to the old Hardie's and the north side. This new culvert will reduce flooding in the area which has been a problem for at least 30 years. Work on the new culvert is expected to start and be completed this year.
