During the 2015 NADO Washington Policy Conference: NADO on the Hill, Representative Robert B. Aderholt (R-AL) was named National Association of Development Organizations' (NADO) 2015 Legislator of the Year.  Representative Aderholt is a dedicated supporter of regional economic development and rural communities.  As a leader on the House Appropriations Committee and Chairman of the Subcommittee on Agriculture and Rural Development, Representative Aderholt has been a champion of programs important to regional economic and community development including the Appalachian Regional Commission, U.S. Economic Development Administration, and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Community Development Block Grant program.  Click here to read a press release from Representative Aderholt’s office on receiving the award.
