Haleyville Mayor Ken Sunseri checked out the progress of the new fire station being constructed on the east side of the Haleyville Shopping Center parking lot on Highway 13 north at 6th Ave. Charles Frazier, inspector for the Cassidy Company, points out the latest work, which includes the installation of the roof. Forecast sunshine should help the concrete pours for the apron and parking areas within the next week.
