A single-vehicle crash Saturday, Jan. 24, claimed the life of a Winfield man.  Mack Dodd Jr., 87, a pedestrian, was killed as he entered the roadway and was struck by a 2003 Chevrolet Trailblazer.  The vehicle did remain at the scene, and the driver was not injured.  The crash occurred at 4:38 p.m. on Marion County 69 one mile south of Winfield.  Nothing further is available as ALEA State Troopers continue to investigate.
