Bids were opened Thursday, November 13, 2014 for the construction of the new Haleyville City Hall. It will be built as an addition to the Downtown Safe Center. Two bids were received on this project, and both companies submitted a last minute deduction that was written in on the outside of the envelope before the bids were opened.  Both construction companies are located in Tuscaloosa.

Harrison Construction Company

Base Bid- $2,000,000.00

Deduction- $121,000.00

Total Bid- $1,879,000.00

K&A Builders

Base Bid- $1,800,000.00

Deduction- $126,000.00

Total Bid- $1,674,000.00

 At Monday’s Haleyville City Council meeting, the Haleyville City Council voted to accept the low bid from K&A Builders for this project in the amount of $1,674,000.00.
