Haleyville’s 10U and 8U All-Star teams competed in their Area Tournaments this past weekend in Fultondale, Alabama. Both teams were able to qualify for the State All-Star Tournament to be held in Vestavia/Hoover this weekend June 26-28. The 8U team won the Peaches Division of the tournament.

Haleyville 10U was the #1 seed of the Belle’s Division for their Area Tournament. They started with Morris on Friday evening losing a heartbreaker 4-2. They came back to win against Corner 14-2. Saturday morning was the big game to see who would go to state. Haleyville got the big win 4-3 against Blount County. They finished in 4^th place after another heart breaking loss to Walker County 6-5.

Both Teams have had great seasons and we wish them the best of luck this week at their state tournaments! Roar Lions!
