The Winston County Sheriff's Department, with assistance from the Haleyville Police Department, worked an accident Thursday afternoon involving an older model Ford Probe and a Winston County Sanitation Department truck.  The accident occurred on County Road 11, just outside Haleyville. Joshua Harper, 35 of Lynn, was the driver of the sanitation truck, and Tommie England, 55, was the passenger.  William Hamby, 50 of Haleyville, was the driver of the car.  No one was injured in the accident.
